The brothers roots stem back to a small village in Punjab, India with a population of around 2,000. The main industry in the village is agricultural with many owning small farms on the outskirts of the main village.
The population decreased in the 60’s as many left the village to seek employment overseas in the UK, Canada, USA and Australia and have since returned investing in new and improving existing properties.
The village has a historical feel with many old buildings still standing. The old village resembles small townships in Europe having small walkways, brick pathways and even a communal well. Folk still gather around this unused well and share stories from the past and as well as stories from their families who now live abroad.
